It,s nice to be back i finally got some time to not do any work around the house.I put a new roof on our house and two new outside doors. Now the snow's coming so I'm taking a brake from that stuff next i have to put new carpet in and other stuff. But anyway i just got home it's now 8:30 pm and my wife called me at 6:30 and told me she was in an accident with the 02 Aurora and that i needed to come there as soon as possible. So i first had to pick up my son at daycare then it took me about 8 min to get to where she was. When i got there i seen the Aurora first then a Honda accord and then some type of small SUV. the SUV hit the Honda then the Honda hit the Aurora.I do have to say that i am so glad i bought that car because it took a pretty good hit and kept my wife safe.So now I'm going to have to get the Aurora fixed. Are there replacement parts still out there for 02 Auroras ? I'm hoping that the other drivers insurance will cover it.

sorry to hear about your accident, shrek....important thing is that your family are ok...you shouldn't have any problems finding replacment body parts for the 02 Aurora at all

I never like to hear about another hurt Aurora, but I would MUCH rather hear about a hurt Aurora than a hurt family. They are built pretty solid, thank the lord for that! I'm glad your wife is alright. The car can be fixed a lot easier than she can be!
You shouldn't have any problems finding body parts. If you have specific ones you need I can keep an eye out at the junk yard for you, but it would definitely be better to take it to a body shop.
How bad was the damage? Do they need to replace the whole rear end, or just some bumper and fender work?

Ditto on the family being OK.
You can find just about every part you need to patch the car up - still enough hanging around the junkyards by way of car-part.com.
Don't forget about Greyhound Bus Package Express for those bulky parts. I had a friend send a whole doghouse from Ohio to Texas for something like $50...
Also - don't let the insurance company run the game.

Your wife is safe thats what counts. There are a reason for these strong built durable cars they are made to keep us safe. You should just be fine of getting all the parts for your car. In 2014 is when GM may no longer carry our parts for Oldsmobile.
