Since the Aurora looks so good in every color, I say "Least Favorite".
Label your favorites, 1 being best and the highest number being least favorite.
1. Dark Red Metallic 2. Black 3. Pearl White 4. Tan 5. Green (The Deep Teal one)
I thinks thats all of them.
The 98' Aurora I'm looking to buy is Tan, but Tan looks nice with blacked out head lights, Tail lights and Limo Black Tint.

Hey newbie, Green (The Deep Teal one) is the BEST, good way to start out in this club dude You were correct when you said "Aurora looks so good in every color" but maybe you should have asked what our favorite colors are instead of our least favorite. And btw, that is not "all of them" You can find info on what colors were available on the 95 and 97 models in "Aurora General Discussion" under "Topic: Aurora facts, figures, articles, and more" and because I am such a nice guy here is a direct link to the thread... aurorah.proboards47.com/index.cgi?board=Gen&action=display&thread=795Educate yourself man ;D *edit* I did a little more work for you, this is a link to the paint colors available on the 97, there were 12 colors available ... www.fedrelandsvennen.no/amcar/brochures/olds/97au_32.html

My favorite is the deep teal green Right O'kirk ? ;D (did I do good ?) Black is my ultimate favorite. I really have only seen one color that wasn't my favorite because they all look good on a 1st gen and that was a powder blue but I'm not sure if it was original or a repaint.

Sorry! Tan looks good I was just messing with auroranator. My brothers is that color, also. I stand by the interior comment, though. You haven't lived life until you have drove an Aurora with Teal or Charcoal interior. ;D I have always wanted a Black '99. I have one now but it has the tan interior. I feel like I am still on a quest for the perfect color combo. It has to be a black '99 with Charcoal or Teal interior.

Randy, you are one smart cookie ;D As far as that black on teal not so sure about that combo, I would think that is really rare. You may have to find one with the teal interior and paint the car to have that combo. Black and charcoal would be good and definitely able to find. And who knows, maybe one day you will buy mine I just haven't "lived life" quite enough yet

Kaykirk you need to chill. The newbie doesn't like teal and that is fine. He is welcome to express his opinion just like anyone else here.
/Blue on blue is by far the worst though.

If I had a black/teal I would tint the windows to give the interior a darker shade inside. I think it would be rare, also. I have never seen one. I have thought several times about switching mine over. I have an almost complete teal interior, but I know it would be to much trouble. I have to change something on it. When I get in an Aurora with tan interior it causes personal problems.

When I get in an Aurora with tan interior it causes personal problems. Careful what you say about tan interior, now! I could probably live with black/charcoal interior on my 96 but tan is by far the best color. My dad's H2 is black on black and its alright but my Jag was black on tan and it was simply beautiful...

My first Aurora is silver teal with the teal interior. I really love it! There is just something that soothes your mind and makes you feel good in the teal interior. I must say, Collins, I do envy the interior on your Aurora. I could work on my interior forever and it would not compare to yours. It helps that you have tint. I think it helps to darken up the interior and make it more appealing. I have been working to restore my black Auroras interior and it is tan. I still care about it, I just honestly don't like it. I think if it had a different color in the mix it might help it be a little more unique. But, there is a fine line between unique and trash. And I still need to have the windows tinted, that will help. And the fact that most of the Auroras I see have tan interiors also make it less attractive. These are still just my opinion, also. It does not change how I feel about my Auroras. Tan! "Color, without our realizing it, can have a profound effect on how we feel both mentally and physically. Dr. Morton Walker, in his book The Power of Color, suggested that the ancient Egyptians as well as the Native American Indians used color and colored light to heal. Below are some emotional associations that humans tend to have with certain colors. These are important to keep in mind in order to create the mood you are seeking. Blue represents peace, tranquility, calm, stability, harmony, unity, trust, truth, confidence, conservatism, security, cleanliness, order, loyalty, sky, water, cold, technology, and depression. Blue can "slow the pulse rate, lower body temperature, and reduce appetite." Blue is considered a business color because it reflects reliability. In China, blue is associated with immortality. In Colombia, blue is associated with soap. For Hindus blue is the color of Krishna. For the Jews, blue symbolizes holiness. In the Middle East blue is a protective color. Note: Blue is often considered to be the safest global color. Black is the absence of light and therefore, of color. It represents power, sexuality, sophistication, formality, elegance, wealth, mystery, fear, evil, anonymity, unhappiness, depth, style, evil, sadness, remorse, anger, underground, good technical color, mourning and death. In speech we say "Don't let a black cat cross your path", "Black Market" or "Black Monday"." iit.bloomu.edu/vthc/Design/psychology.htmI could not find tan.

I honestly dont dislike any of these colors, but these this would be my order of preference.

interesting thread...
my favorite color is White Diamond....(not called "Pearl White" as most of you referred to it as. no offense to any of you, it's just a pet peeve of mine)
2. Black 3. Dark Blue Metallic (not sure this is the right name) 4. Silver 5. Dark Red Metallic
as far as interior, my favorite would be white leather, but i am not even sure they make it...all my cars had white vinyl interiors so #1 would then be tan or beige black or charcoal #2 the only interior i dont care for is the blue/teal color
