Heeeeeeeere's lance! Another month for a featured Classic - his bright white 1997:
------------------------------------------------
HOLY COW! this is the best April fools present ever man ;D
First I got 2 spots in this years calendar, then this. ok i guess i thought this day would never come and i am so happy everyone. you guys rock. And so right now before I forget I would like to thank my buddy Randy T, for surely this would not have happened without him!! Of course, a big thanks to all u cats who voted for me too.
1997 GM bright white non autobahn base model
purchased 10/01/06 for $2,250 with 108,900 miles. She rolled 129,000 miles this morning, then She's a bone stock model, usually that doesn't make a car unique b/c it has absolutely no options, just all the normal Aurora goodies. heck i thought it was loaded when i saw it. i could be wrong about this, but i think ROARAH is probably unique in that aspect, or are there others here who don't have any options?
i have kept every single receipt for this car since day one, right down to .99c light bulbs. It is a sizeable file so forgive me for not recalling every detail lol. I just bought a set of Imco glass packs today and was wet sanding them when i found out i got MFA. obviously i am Aurora crazy, who wet sands glass packs when they are gonna be under a car getting dirty? Just an old artist who works with fine details i painted them blue to match my pinstripes, strut bar, ignition wires, hose covers, interior lights & mint smelling tree hanging from my mirror ;D ;D
umm most everyone knows i'm disabled bc i remember a little rant once. and this car gives me something to keep busy with. it consumes alot of my time, money and energy and i love it! i did not drive for 18 months and i missed driving soo much. the Aurora is the easiest car in the world to drive with one arm and one hand. it is truly therapeutic for me. i have been totally nuts over Lamborghinis for 30 years now, but in the first year, the Aurora swiftly snugged up to second place. first place to me bc i sure don't have a Lamborghini but rather I mean maybe the 2nd best automobile ever made.
i guess i should get to the work performed since it is pretty lengthly.
