Is there a Dedicated Thread area where people like the Seville STS/DTS/GXP Bonneville etc with N* engines can post information and such. Most sites have this and I thought I remember seeing it here a long while back.

I have not seen it here thus far and I have been all over this forum since I joined. I do not think one exists because this mainly a Aurora forum. Not saying it would be a bad idea but this is the ACNA not just a general automotive forum.

you could post questions in the mechanical forums since the engine and trans are the same and lots of stuff is similar, it would be helpful to us anyways.

I'd assume that mechanically it would be appropriate to match up your "era" of N* with either the Classic or 2nd-gen sections. I don't really know (maybe someone can advise) how similar the late model Cadillac engines/trannies are to the 2nd-gen 4.0L setup.

Actually, the LATE late models are quite a bit different, seeing that they (well the CTS and STS) are RWD. I think they made a lot of changes on the engine when they did that. the new DTS, however, still uses the FWD N* with the 4t80 i believe. But yes, its still a good idea, especially for the pre 2004 ish ones, so thanks for the agreement Scotty, makes me feel cool if its newer, i say still put it in the maintinence section, we can try to help anyways, and perhaps we will learn something!
