Hello All, I know it's been a long time since I have posted but I just wanted to share my recent repair work. Some might know that I walked out of work an found my car had gotten hit in the parking lot. Went around and around to find a shop to repair my car for a descent price and couldn't find one. I did find a place that sold the perl white in a spray paint can though. I started late the day UPS delivered so it isn't the best job and I did manage to get one small run. Before After *** Image removed - hosting error *** I have to admit that I did work in an auto body shop, but my job was taping off and sanding. I learned a lot from just watching. It is not the best job, but i think it is pretty good for someone with very little experience. What do you think? P.S. Thanks go to RandyT for the headlight

Thanks for the reply Marc. Like I typed, there is a small run in the paint but it looks better than the big dent I had. I will try to take better pictues and post them.

Just did it now instead of waiting. You can almost see how it still has the shine here.

The "after" picture looks a whole lot better than the "before" picture. Well done.

BTW I see 4 frat guys laying on the couch. They arent even drinking, so not inappropriate to that extent, but its not a pic of the car

Heh, I pulled that second photo. Looks like a problem with the Imageshack hosting on lee816's end, a "people chillin' on couch" photo was probably named the same thing as his "fixed Aurora" photo for some reason and took over.
lee816, you can replace the photo by re-uploading it to Imageshack and clicking the "Modify" button above your post to put the image code back in. Or I can do it for you if you want to PM or e-mail me a photo link.

well don't sweat the fact it's rattle canned. if you looked close at my car you will see runs, drips, crackles, chips, etc. from whoever spray canned it before i had it. white hides all that pretty good for the most part. but like yesterday i was washing at the car wash and blew a junk of paint off a rear door.
