Sounds to me like you found the ideal buyer for your Aurora. Good job

Got a couple drive-by photos of the Aurora at its new home, with one of its "sisters"... sorry for the quality I was moving and snapping simultaneously: Looks like one happy family! ;D

Like I said before I don't think she could have gone to a much better home. They obviously know and like Auroras, they'll take good care of her.

I don't know how I am going to ever do this and I know the day will come . Right now, I think Betty Boop thinks she is a cat ;D cause she has been saved from this a few times I don't think you mentioned how much you got for her, do you mind if I ask?

Is that a happy family for the Aurora sisters. At least you can somewhat see her everyday, you probably miss her now? I could not break apart with my old girl, nor my wife she is hooked with her. Too many fond memories with her.

I was asking $3800, these folks walked down the street and offered $3500 after a giving it a "once over" and 3-minute test drive. I gladly accepted. I remain surprised that all it took to sell the car was to park it at the end of my driveway with a sign in it. Wish I hadn't paid for that classified ad!

Scotty, my Dad knows the loss of selling your prized ride. He sold his baby blue 1963 Satfire, July of 2008. He had the car for 19 years and 7 months. trust me, if I I did not have an loan on my red Toronado, I would of bought the Stafire in a heartbeat.
