Just ordered magic eraser original, it seems magic eraser has different packings. Official site says 1ct, 2ct... but on amazon and ebay I see some 1oz?
Does Magic Eraser also work on wood/vinyl interior, or maybe even the exterior?

Well let me say, I was skeptical of the magic eraser, but after trying might I say FANTASTIC! I've never seen my interior so clean, I never dreamed they could work so well, quite literally like magic. My only complaint is they don't last long.
And Collins on the box it does say not to use it on automotive exteriors so I would take their word for it haha, but anyways, highly recommend the magic erasers, have to try Lexol one of these days.

I didnt use the magic erasers but I did go and get the expensive Lexol to use and treat on the seats that I'm installing and I'm not sure if I'm all that impressed. I just used it last night so this may be premature but all it seemed to do was leave a super shiny sheen(no Charlie Sheen jokes lol, he's my hero). I thought that it would help with the texture just a bit but it may have to really soak in. One mistake I made was leaving it on one of the seats overnight...BIG no-no. Became VERY difficult to remove, almost like a thick film. Had to buff really hard to remove.

expensive Lexol? I got Lexol cleaner and conditioner for $12 each(not spray bottle, 2 spray bottles for $2 at Walmart). It seems that bottle lasts forever unless you use it every week.

I paid $9 for each product, I thought that was expensive especially compared to the other products.

the Lexol cleaner, along with the conditioner worked well for me. i did notice the conditioner, takes a couple, three applications to properly moisturise the leather (after much neglect) and for the creasing to go away, and suppleness to come back! i guess it all depends on what your starting with, to get what you end up with

You also need to use HOT soapy water to break down all the oils that absorb into the leather over time. Then you can use Lexol.

Doing this as we speak -- But -- Can anyone tell me if anything would happen if i scrub 'too' hard with a Magic eraser? I'm scared to scrub much harder.. lol EDIT: Okay, I've done the rest of the car (which wasnt bad) but the Drivers seat was where I spent most of my time.. It was bad. You can tell the before/after pictures -- Before there was this REALLY dark color.. so I got a magic eraser, and lightly went at it. As it picked up the dirt, it didn't get "clean" like the rest of the seats did. It sort of revealed this dry-looking part, that I'm unsure is dirt, or if I just need to put a ton of conditioner or cleaner on it. Also, the spot is not "slick" like the rest of the leather, it is a sort of "rough" texture that feels like dirt, but I don't want to use the magic eraser on it just in case.. Please help.. That is a wear problem with the leather coloring. They need to be recolored/dyed. Cleaning and redying should fix that. You have grey interior? Here'sthe link on how to do it. A great resource.

I have a tan interior.
Is there a shop that can possibly do the re-dying, etc for me? :{

You can have a upholstery shop do it for you, but it can be big $$$

i scrubbed too hard with saddle soap and took the color off in a place. saddle soap is a detergent, so it probably would do that. Mr. clean magic eraser I find is color safe and does an excellent job Just to let you all know, these will take the seat coloring off also. So beware, dont just go full force at the seats with these. They will do damage
