Does anyone out there have any custom wheels for their Aurora? Jim W...did you have to do anything to make the 17" SSEi wheels fit? Are they std SSEi rims or custom? Not that I have the money to buy any...but they look cool anyways!

No need to modify at all. All I had to do was add 235/55/17's and that was it, I have seen a few classic Auroras with 2001+ rims and that looks sharp. But not as eye catching as this All i have to do is wait for the centre caps. www.tirerack.com allows you to place aftermarket rims on an Aurora image to see what its like. I did a similar thing before I installed the SSEi rims There are some sweet Ebay deals out there too.

Does anyone out there have any custom wheels for their Aurora? I put some photos in this thread: aurorah.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=Exterior&thread=1084052403&action=display&start=18I've thought a bit about chromes on my car, but I like the aluminum look. I've also thought about some customs but can't think of anything that would look good without being wild. Those AR wheels on the white one are cool, but they are narrower 17x7" vs my 17x7.5" wheels. Plus, they might not look as good on red. I've thought about the STS wheels the Final 500 has, but I actually think the Aurora wheels look better. The STS wheels just look different, but not really great.

But not as eye catching as this I think the 2001+s are very sharp on the classic. Yours look pretty good, but I think if you didn't have diamond white, or possibly black, they wouldn't look good. There's a difference between "eye-catching" and "good"... To me yours are borderline between tastefully accenting the car, and just being loud wheels for the sake of loud wheels. A lot of ricer wheels are just crazy designs that don't jive with the car at all. Yours do look pretty good, though, but I think diamond white helps a lot.

Fine! Tastefully loud is alright by me! I wasnt feelin the 2001+ wheels on the classic, hence the SSEi rims. Cheers to individuality. But far from rice
