I'm gonna be there for sure too! I already put in for the time off at work and I got my claybar kit ready for the detail I give her the day before! Haha. Now I just hope I can get my tints before it.
What time is it supposed to start anyways?

What time is it supposed to start anyways? Aurora Rancher (Tony and family) have to get going early so he wanted everyone to be there by 10:30ish. I'll probably try to be there a little before that in case I get lost. ;D

Ok, I am in a 15 yr old Nissan Maxima, with a hole in the front bumper, rusted wheel wells, nasty rims, and no muffler. Can I still come?

As much as i would love coming to an Aurora meet for the first time, i cant afford it. In gas or miles lol. for me its a 7hr/400Mile trip one way. Maybe in the future if one is more to the west. I hope you all have fun though! Haha

So how many do we truly have coming?
To those coming, bring food, condiments, non alcoholic beverages, camera, sun screen (if needed) and what you think you will need for the day. Bringing your Aurora if you still own one is a must.

I'll cover chips. I have 9 hours in the car so I can't bring anything perishable.
Who is covering blueberry surprise again? ;D
I hope you can make it, Budsang!

Last year we had TONS of hot dogs (I'm talking like 10 dozen for 20 people or so) and about 4 hamburgers. So some folks might want to think about grabbing some patties or sides. And as far as perishables if you are traveling a long distance, there's a huge grocery store (can't remember the name but it was pretty new last year) not that far away. We bought bottled water and bagged ice for the cooler there last year, right before driving the rest of the way to the forest preserve.

That store is Woodmans at I-88 and Orchard Rd.
FYI, the exits at I-88 and Rt 31 are open this year. Exit there and head North to the Preserve site. It will be a few miles down and on your right and I hope to have a sign posted by that morning.
