Was driving home in the pouring rain last night from Chicago, was raining so hard the wipers couldnt keep up so I started to slow down and next thing I know I hear and feel a huge bang. The road went from 2 lanes down to one lane and I nailed the curb going about 25mph, blew my tire out and broke my rim. The wheel stayed on thankfully, it didnt brake it completely off or anything but it knocked it out of alignment. Didnt feel any vibrations or anything, going to take it in to have it looked at today by a friend.
If anyone knows someone who has a wheel laying around let me know please. I cant find a replacement around here.

Ask me again next week.
I have new rims and tires on order, for fitting Saturday. I'm keeping one as a full sized spare (being as that tire is only about 3 weeks old), but I'll have three rims, with tires available then.

Definitely check www.car-part.com and search wheels in your area, and/or craigslist and I'm sure you will find something. If you go with fatjock's offer, a factory wheel without tires should ship for around $20... not sure what the extra size/weight would be with the tire.

FIXED... Cost me about $350. There was a broken tie rod (or cracked, idk) and it was out of alignment pretty bad. All better though now, just glad there wasnt anything more serious wrong with it.

If the ones here don't pan out, Ebay is always loaded.
