Dealer I work for just picked one up at auction for $1,100 dollars it had 75,000 miles on it. Anyway I was prepared to be dissapointed but the car drove well. That car was quicker than a 2006 DTS I test drove a while back. I considered buying it myself but I have not had good luck with Northstar powered car. Wont handle as good as an Aurora but def worth a look.

Uni, \ i dont think your lying. but i have a hard time believing that a 97 deville would be faster then the 06 dts...
i drove a 99 and it was no way faster then my aurora, off the line it was a dog, it seemed that it had no power off the line and more power from mid speed.
maybe something was wrong with the 06?
is this 97 a concours?
for 75k miles and 1,100$ thats a damn deal, id buy that in a heart beat.
ive also drove a 06 dts, and it mostly felt like a update aurora, sounded like the aurora, ran like the aurora, just seemed to have a better more floaty ride at higher speeds.

Nah trust me it def felt quicker. I didnt drive them back to back but i remember being dissapointed by the 06 DTS. i expected to feel the same about the 97 but was pretty amazed. Only problems the car had was the radio and climate control did not respond to button presses.

That 06 DTS was loaded with so many options like Nav, Carrage top and larger caddy rims. The Digital dash worked fine just the radio and AC didnt register button presses?
