I LOVE that color, clutch. I was a little skeptical when you started paint on it but I must say you did a great job.
I'm thinking a dark gunmetal gray metallic for mine... want to do the honors? ;D
By the way, how have you not done clears yet?

ahhhhhhhh, lol just read the post link, so it's called the kandy clutch paint code. very nice indeed. just one thing,(i'm not much of a body man) did you pull the bumpers for easy access, or so they wouldn't melt when you were welding, or a little of both? (the rims set it off real nice) ;D

Beautiful Aurora, that paint job looks kool, I'm loving the Nitto's as well.
I think it needs to be waxed & polished to bring out some of the luster in the new paint job.
Great work, keep up the good work.

Needs more than wax/polish, lol. Could use a cut, re-clear... or at least a cut, buff, polish, then wax. But I'm lazy!
xjs... Kansas eh? Lol maybe next summer we could figure something out!
tipsy. Yea, I just dropped the front of the rear bumper to make working there easy.. then pulled them completely off, to make painting easier in my small garage. Plus, if you don't at least disconnect where it butts up against the body it'll almost always start to chip off around the seam there (same with door handles, etc.. I just left mine on cuz again.. was lazy.)
Thanks guys!

I don't know how it's possible but it's the first time I see your car! And I must say: it's absolutely ASTONISHING! The paint looks great and yes, the wheels do a great job as well. Is it just me or does that aurora look HUGE to anybody else? Yeah, indeed! I think it might be because of the wheels. They're massive! And another thing: is it me or does it look RWD on the first pic? No, seriously - the rear tires are wide, so we get more traction - just like in every other 400+ hp sportscar ;D I'd never believe the Aurora is fwd if that would be the only pic of it I've seen

Slightly different take on this: Creative, colorful, and fun.
All goes together with that stunning exterior color. I know from the beginning that this is not a factory standard automobile.
This goes into my category of, "I'm just here for the grins!"
What fun.

It's not my showcar, just the daily/winter driver, but I wanted to spice it up a little, get a few looks, and make driving it a lil more fun! Here's a couple pics of lowrider's interiors that inspired me... I was just looking around one night and went "That's cool, I should do that for the heck of it". $10 worth of ebay bandanas, lol.

I' m a bit confused about the lowrider picture. Is it really right hand drive, or is the picture reversed?

I'm goin with yes, right hand drive. I had to search the car club, Australia.
Clutch, the car looks great, what a cool color...and wheels. Keep takin the fall photos for next year, submissions happen before many leaves have turned.

right hand drive for sure, look where the key insert is. if it was a reversed negative, the key would bo on the other side. of the column,(for the most part) for an American car of the same years.
now, what is it? a ford pony, merc falcon, or chev ll,? hard to tell, from the dash. but looks like 64-67 model of some type.
