well it seems that plans have changed for next year. we won't be meeting @ Randy's place anymore b/c he has moved about 40 miles away from his previous location. i just found this out earlier when my best friend said he was looking to rent it today. i thought wow that sounds like Randy's place, so i called him & it is.
but here's the good news guys: we will continue this fun tradition at my place! yup b/c i live only 5 miles from the aurora city park where the big car show is. also i have a much bigger yard to accommodate the auroras and its real flat and no worries about camping in a field of tall grass either cause my grass will be short since it's my front yard.
one last thing, like before, we can have a huge bonfire, you guys can camp out and i can crank the tunes from my bedroom. the only thing that we did before which we can't do now is run our cars like mad men at 100 mph up and down the street here. otherwise the meet will continue just as years past.
i'm looking forward to having it here guys it's gonna be a real blast. i guess we won't be taking that scenic route 66 trip but it's also not out of the question. it's just not on the way anymore and we won't have to wake up so early to drive 30 miles to aurora cause its only 5 minutes away now from me.

We will all meet at Lance's place on Friday whenever we show up. I'll be getting there around 6 myself, earlier/later is fine. We'll either make or get some food for whoever is there around dinner time and just hang and get to know each other. We will also head down to the dragstrip that night and whoever wants to run can do so, the plan is to head down there at 4:30pm. Whoever doesn't go to the strip can just hang out at Lance's place.
Saturday morning we'll go out to Aurora, MO for the car show and spend part of the day there showing off. We'll need to get there early to get a spot for all of us, there should be a lot this year!
After the show (and some food) we'll drive down Historic Route 66 to get some pictures in front of the gas station/truss bridge we've been to the past few years. It's a great picture spot with a rarely used (3 cars in 2 hours haha) highway that is great for taking pictures on. Seriously, I laid down in the middle of the highway to take pictures last year. It's awesome.
Saturday evening/night we'll head about an hour away to Bolivar, MO to Randy's shop/house. He runs a three bay shop with a couple lifts that we can all hang out at and barbecue and stuff and work on the cars! Zach put in a sway bar link using Ramps last year, and almost cut off the muffler of his Grand Am (GAGTSERA) the year before that... A lift would have been better for both of those things. haha.
Hang out and depart Sunday morning.
