Nelson is/was correct. The dealership was not going to warrant the transmission due to the TCC solenoid going, causing the rest of the transmission failure. Because the TCC is not a moving part. Which my warranty only covers moving parts.
But I find that with the proper amount of threatened legal action, and enough phone calls, the dealership HAS agreed to replace the transmission in the car. Now if only I could get the engine to crap out. Then I could have a new engine and tranny!

Oldsnut, The King, has spoken: Off with her head. Make room for the new Aurora Queen.
Yes there is room for 2 Queens. As we are all self appointed.......whatever! Join in the fun and compainionship of Aurora enthusiasts from the Midwest.

They're BOTH in Aurora this year! One in Aurora, IL and one in Aurora, MO. What a coincidence!
IL would be closer, but MO is still really fun. I think both sounds like a great idea!
LOL, of course. Like I said, I can only for sure make one. I'd like to make both and will if things work out, but I'm going to commit to getting to one for sure. Just can't decide which.
I went to Aurora, IL a few years ago, and it was a nice time. Although, honestly, MO sounds like more fun -- with the car show and the trip to the track, camping, etc. I might have to spring for that one rather than IL this time around.
Of course, the downside is that it's later in the year! You will have to wait longer to see my beautiful mug. ;D
I posted this in the other thread. It is a link to the Friday night downtown Wheaton, IL. car show which is about 25 minutes from the site for our meet on Saturday. Anyone who is interested can meet me out there on Friday or we can meet at my house and caravan in together. I personally have never been to this Friday cruise but it is a great downtown area and I am game for something new. downtownwheaton.com/events/vintage_rides.html
I think Oldwino (Jack) told me he was coming up early so he may be there but will have to verify.
Whatever is decided for Saturday night, we can all head over to my house for relaxation a few beverages of choice and whatever else comes to mind. I live less than 5 minutes from the meet site. It also is a great shelter if a storm comes in. I was hoping that the local A&W cruise night was that weekend but was switched with early storms this year. If it gets back on track for our meet weekend it is always an option. It is usually a great family time at A&W.
