If you look at the alternator write-up, the first part is removing the radiator as well. Tipsy said it's 15mm. I like to use the line wrenches so I know the fitting won't get stripped. Not 100% necessary though but come in handy for same reason for fuel and brake lines.
Cold weather doesn't make it fun, that is for sure! I would empty the system through the drain petcock though it's less messy. Some times if you are going to put the same radiator back in it would be wise to not use the drain petcock though. Break/strip threads, etc.

Good thinking with the alternator write up. It sort of works out because I was going to change the coolant soon anyways, but I was going to wait til SUMMER haha

Got it all done yesterday. Ran into a problem when the lower hose Car Quest gave me was about three inches too short. The line wrench needed I would guess is 16mm, 15mm was too small. Had to use an adjustable but came off with no problems.

Thank you, very helpful write-up! My '95 radiator had a barely visible crack right below the top coolant hose. Got a Spectra brand made in Canada from AutoZone and happy with the quality. It also came with new fan brackets. There was one problem though, the passenger side condenser bolt wouldn't line up so I had to file the lower plastic condenser tab slot about 3/16" deeper.
The transmission lines on my '95 are 5/8 and the passenger side oil lines are 20mm. If you are dealing with a rusted lower oil line it might be wise to make sure you that have a 20mm line wrench. My line would have surely broken but using plenty of penetrating oil soaking overnight and heating the nut with a homeowner style propane torch broke it free. Just make sure not to melt anything in the area. I raised the radiator a few inches and put a block of wood under it to get it away from a wiring harness. Sanded the rust off of the line so I could pull the nut back and applied a thick coat of anti-seize to hopefully keep it from binding up in the future.
