Yesterday I followed nelson480's lead and spent about an hour under the front end looking for leaks. I found coolant hanging on to the low point of the water pump towards the firewall. I wiped up a bunch of oil that was on the filter, and other low areas but it wasn't coming from the oil filter housing, the oil temp sensor or the oil pressure sensor, it seemed to be leaking from the seal above the pan. (I've been leaving a few spots at work and at home in the past six months) I put a little twist on the oil pan bolts just to be sure. Today I treated the rubber door/window/trunk seals, vacuumed and washed her...following pureinsanity's lead! (waxing was out of the question) I also took her for a dry-off run after the wash, blew the cobwebs out a bit. Too many cars on the road to really let her loose.

So far mine are holding back and and all moisture. I had to wait 2 light cycles to be first in line at my launch light...lol. Boy does she scream...and still no ses light.

Looks brand new! Never noticed we were that close!! I got it from a yard in westville, i was lookin thru the caddi section and amongst the 4.6s i found the one i got mine out of, it pretty much is brand new along with the belt that i snagged, im thinkin about goin back and getting the WP if its new too. All the other 4.6s there are trashed, and the 2 Gold mist Classics that were there got killed

A stop-go commute time regulated on-ramp? I love those, too bad both lights don't go green at the same time, ha. ;D I used Meguiars #40 vinyl and rubber cleaner/conditioner. Its something I probably should have been doing all along to keep them supple. My right rear window has never worked and frankly its the only one I can live without but, its about 99.5% all the way up so I want to keep a good seal. It really doesn't leak in heavy rain but I have had a drop or two in the car wash (rare). (first time I used supple in a post, lol)

She got a brand new pair of AC Delco All Season Plus wiper blades ($24+tax). 135,000 miles and 10 years on the originals...why mess with success.

I buy the cheapo AutoZone brand, ive had better luck with my 2nd pair on the aurora, the ones on the cutlass sucked! I was so worried id break my linkage last night because i turned them on and one wiper was froze so i quickly shut it off! After having to use a bucket of water to melt the 2" of ice in the under hood area all is well!

Changed WP belt tensioner (still makes clicky noise idk why), drove to help my bus driver with something, went to walmart, went to school, went back home, went back to school, after school remote start totally quit, almost got sideswiped buy a wreckless driver in a Acura TL, changed Turn signal relays, reset remote start system (working again for now), and then continued diagnosing the electrical Gremlin that is my dads Crappalier.... **Oh almost forgot! Saw 2 auroras today (dont normally see em) But unfortunately both were in shabby shape first one was a midnight blue 2001 4.0 with chromies that was squatting in the front like it was ready to run at the strip and had 1 brakelight bulb fully on and the rest just tail were on (also had the red markers on the bumper on? Is that factory?) The second was a white diamond 95 dirty as all getout with peeling quarters..poor thing had chromies too

Theyre supposed to light up too? ya, if your talking about the two red lights in the bumper. they don't really do much, just kind of look good thats all and the side marker lights are dummy reflectors also! (well not mine, i made the light up like they should have done in the first place)

Theyre supposed to light up too? Let me tell you they are nice to have on the highway when it gets really foggy out you can see them for about 3 or 4 miles. I had an elderly lady follow me one night on a foggy night in her Lucerne and she said it was very nice to see the Aurora so she knows where she is going. THis is the First American made car and only one so far with them except for the some of the Jaguar and landrovers cars have them too but they are a german made car. SO IT DOES HAVE A PURPOSE!
