today i was backing out of a parking space, i was right beside the curb. i never felt the passenger side go onto the curb as it was very slightly sloped. once i got out, i put it in drive and cut the wheels to leave. that's when the pass side of my car fell about 6 inches onto the curb. BAM i thought it had dropped onto the motor or tranny and was concerned. i tore a chunk about 8 x 8 inches off of the concrete curb. it's only superficial damage to my sub frame. it looks like spray paint but it's concrete ground into the metal. it did bend back that piece of plastic about an inch but no biggie. i looked at the curb again and saw where other cars have done the same thing as i had. gee they should really fix that part of the curb alongside the sidewalk.
