Ok, so many people may know that in february I slid downhill into a utility pole. Well its been a while and ive now gotten the parts and await my boss to take on the challenge. The body colission class did an AWESOME job! This whole project cost me around $1290. Not bad really, with parts from junk yard, to the schools supplies and all!
Pic 1/2- My car in my yard. Not pretty at all. The wheel well was actually rubing the wheel before i bent it back to move it. Still driveable.
Pic 3- Inside, the pole buckled the pillar there and you cannot see it too well, but the outside is pretty bent. Glass is on the seat and its shattered, but the tint was holding it together before i put some good old duct tape over it.
Pic 4/5/6- Finally went to a junk yard and found an 01'. They cut off everything i needed, and here is the aftermath.
**UPDATE**
Ok so the Auto Collision class finally started my car. (Note that the instructor said his class would be able to work on it now and then, but it will not be an everyday project for them to work on until they get into paint in Dec/Jan.) Here are a few pics of the first week's work.
-Here they got the tail lights, and the bumper off.
-Here the rear windshield is out. Lucky that didn't shatter on impact because there were alot of dents on the piller that pushed in on it.
-Here the door is off. You can see the door jam took all damage. The hinges weren't bent that held the door on.
Hopefully someday i'll be able to drive my beauty again. Probably after winter is when it will be done. I miss it more and more everyday... I know it's just a car but damnit lol it's mine. The other day there was someone in town test driving an 01' 3.5 that is really nice and I couldn't stop staring... then i noticed they were staring at me getting into my s**tty Taurus... If only they knew...
UPDATE 11/9/11
Great progress already!!
I'm really glad they have done a great job so far. Can't wait until it's finished!

So, after almost 1 year after my accident, here is what has been done...(Note that it has not been in the body shop the entire time.)
-Okay, so I have had my car back for about 2 weeks now. Everything looks amazing, and it is just crazy how amazing they did. Here are a few pics today! (Kinda really dirty!)
