ok so the last couple of weeks ive had a few issues finding parts, im sure most of you who have stuck a wrench into the almost non-existant holes digging after bolts in these cars have.. most times u can find a part at the junkyard, if they even have an aurora or caddy there last time it was the "backfire valve" which has some name that really makes u think of something else, it was something like "fuel pressure regulator" but had nothing to do with fuel, i finally found a donor about 100 miles from me and bought an intake for 40 bux to get it, which is great, but now i need the o-ring that goes around it as both the car and the donor were both hard as a rock and napa has no info on the valve what so ever, i had gone to the dealer and they said heres the part number, the name and a bit of good luck to you... so since the gubment motors buyout these parts are discoed and not likely to return, and since there is very few of these cars running around and the likelyhood of an aftermarket pigeon holing themselves into trying to sell parts to a few thousand buyers probly wont pop up... for polaris stuff its pretty easy, they use parts from ford escorts and john deere and so on, but where can we find parts for these things? so i figured id throw up a post where if u finally find that "1 damn part" your looking for u can post it here so others dont need to feel your pain

Are you looking to restore it or just keeping it running? Familiar places like ebay or craigslist or the classifieds here will usually do, some members here have parts cars, here is an excellent source. For the NOS or genuine GM stuff that is hard to find you can try here: www.compnine.com/index.php?s=1&catcode=35G&year=1995&modelcode=G&modelid=1147577364&makecode=OWarning: "They ain't proud". There are others but your history shows mostly GM stuff, so you probably know the common sources. Others can chime in. Correction: Try to keep it running!! The "classics" are getting crushed daily, so, shortly, parts are going to be a challenge to find, especially the unique ones to 95-99 Roras. If you have room, a parts car would be nice.

I have a 07 supercharged grand prix gt2 the transmission is a 4t65e hd code mn7. I found a tranny out of a 99 supercharged Regal codes in the trunk are mn7 and L67 which match everything I've looked up but i think the tranny tag says i think XAB WILL THAT WORK. I was told if the tag in the trunk matches mn7 its a match is that true. Will this tranny work for my car. Mine is L32. I was told L32 and L67 were the hd

I kinda doubt it.
MN7 only means that it's a 4T65E-HD. There were at least 3 different final drive ratios for that trans...
And even if you're lucky, and they do have the same final drive ratio, I don't think they will be electrically/electronically compatible due to the difference in age.
Just an opinion...

Post any RPO codes from your '07 that begin with F. (FV4, FR9, etc.)
Need to know the final drive ratio...
