Sept 9th 2011 my girlfriend, I and Rora will be making our Western Canadian Road Trip. Drawing it out on the map now we will be heading down the #1 and staying in Calgary on the 10th, cruzin the mountains till the 12th and ending up in the Vancouver area for the remainder of the week. On the the way home (17th or 18th) we will be headed down the #3 thru Lethbridge AB then back to the #1. Would love to meet up with any Aurora lovers on the way! Let us know we will be checking up on this thread daily throughout the trip. Would love to see some of you on the way!  Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

Watch out for the prairie police. they are especially anal...err bad in Alberta. I counted about 15 from Jasper to Edmonton (400km) - B.C. RCMP are barely visible outside of Tim Hortons.
Unfortunately I am in England until the 20th and I cannot meet. I would have definitely driven to Cow Town to meet up!
You should detour slightly in Southern Alberta go north about 45km from the #1 and check out the dinosaurs in Drumheller. Royal Tyrrell Museum was my favorite when I was 5, and I thoroughly enjoyed it when I was 25.
Rogers Pass is probably one of my favorite routes. However Crows Nest Pass is truly beautiful in the summer! Make sure you stop at all the scenic views and take pics! PM Northofyou if you want to meet up in Chilliwack. He is definitely a blast to party with.

We barely saw any RCs on our way out. we were taking it easy any staying at around 8 over.
Trip has been great so far. Used 207 litres to get to Vancouver.
We took the 5a which was amazing! A true drive it yourself roller coaster ride! Was good bonding with my Aurora, having upgraded the sway bars to the STS made a huge difference!
In Vancouver till Friday, then on our way home. Only saw one Aurora so far on the way out here. A white classic with a black bra. Will be posting videos and pictures once I'm home.
Beiber is a disgrace to Canada btw!

DARNNNN!!! a month too late! Next time 420, next time. And yeah I love the #5!!! I live only about 20 minutes Aurora time away from the entrance and on the wkds Ill fill the girl up and get all that carbon out from city driving! Next time you swing by this way hit up the sea to sky to Whistler!!! Now that's a drive worth remembering ;D And LOL! Skiiirt yeah we have had some fun. Whistler run this summer?
