Hi, I have been in the market for an Aurora(or Riviera) for about 6 months and I finally found a great deal(or so I thought). This 95 was beautiful inside and out but after driving it for a couple days I noticed a clanking noise whenever I hit a bump on my passenger side. I realized that one passenger body mount was rotted/broken right through the cradle and the other passenger one is missing its rubber! I have no idea how this would have happened as the entire bottom of the car is rust free aside from the passenger front. I have a MIG but am not sure how to approach this repair, so I have a few questions. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.
-What is the best access point to the cradle in this area?(through the passenger floor I was thinking) -Would I be OK fixing just the one passenger body mount that just has the rubber missing?(and leaving the other one as it is) -Whats the best way to remove an extremely rusted bolt on the body mount? -What type of shop would do this kind of repair?(If I fail to do it myself)
If anyone could answer any of these questions I will do what I can to return the love! Thanks so much for your time!

This exact thing is what killed my last car. Safe to say, I don't think that only fixing one would be a viable solution to the problem. I'd say a body shop would be your best bet if you can't get it done yourself.

Hey was your car an Aurora that was ruined due to body mount issues? Because I noticed that there are 6 mounts(2 front and 2 on each side) but even without the mounts on the passengar side effective the other mounts still have triangular support. I hope nothing happens to mine because the collision shop said they are backed up a month before they can get to my car.

Not sure on the Classic, but if they mount the same as the 2G, you might be best served by pulling the cradle out and replacing it with a JY one. To fix the anchor bolt rust, they use a flat nut insert tucked up in the frame, so cut out the old and weld in new. Careful - the nuts may not be available through GMSPO. The 2G engine and transmission will hang from the left and right motor mounts.

Thankyou for your replies, I like yours ntrenn min is the same color. Beige interior? And I think it wuld be too expensive to replace the cradle because I wouldnt know how to go about doint it myself or even have the tools for the job.

Dark neutral...essentially tan. Yes...the green guys have stick together....not many made in green.
As far as the cradle - son destroyed my original when he hit the bridge. My donor cradle came from a Bonneville.
