First select an appropriate image. Read this for guidelines... aurorah.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Staff&action=display&thread=6114Once you have your appropriately sized image, go here to upload it... imagehost.auroraclubna.com/Copy the BBCode entry under "Show directly this image" Now click on your name or click 'profile' at the top of the page to view your own profile. Click Modify Profile and paste the image url in the Signature field. While you're there, add info about your car (at least the year, helps people help you better.) HTH, Bob

Really, if you just resize the pic and/or crop the part of the photo you want in your sig, you can upload the picture in a PM using the link from image shack, and send it to one of us mods/admins. We have the ability to go into your profile and update the sig. It takes hardly any time at all.

We have some GREAT looking signature pics lately, but please do remember the general guideline of 500x150 pixels. I've noticed many of them getting "taller" than that recently. It's not a hard-and-fast rule that will get you banned or anything, but we want to make sure thread text is visible... without the repeating sig photos taking up a ton of space. If you need any help bringing an existing sig photo "down" to the correct size, just post up!

It's a little on the "tall" side... 216 pixels. We like to keep 'em near or below 150 pixels.
You can get the pixel size information by right-clicking on any photo and selecting "Properties" or "Image Info" depending on which browser you are using.

Well I tried to post pics a couple dozen times but i decided to give up. I enjoy the posts and i get a lot of helpful info from this site but posting a pic is not that easy, for me at least. If i could suggest one improvement on this site it would be to make posting pics easier

And just a reminder as far as forum improvement go... we (ACNA staffers) love the ideas often suggested by everyone, but we are hosted by Proboards (a free option) and are locked in to many of their forum designs. The "Search" function and photo posting are good examples. We have little control over how those features are handled. But please always ask questions, and we'll be happy to help however we can.
