I hit an animal only once, almost 40 years ago. Back then, it was "skunk vs. 442". It took about a week for the smell to die down.

Looks like the paint job probably could have used a bit more prep, like adhesion promoter. But in any case, since it was likely a rattle can job before, should be an easy fix. The bumper can be adjusted too without a tremendous headache. Still irritating I'm sure, but be glad it wasn't something much bigger!
You got any full car shots of the car with the painted plastic? I'm curious as to how it looks.

ya shlotzky, i painted them years ago. just look around the showroom or latest pic of your car thread. there must be hundreds of them around here

I painted the plastic on my old one, krylon fusion haha, looked great. Painted it black though, it was grey before

That sucks. Least it didn't bust your foglight.
I hit a racoon once at ~65mph in a Pontiac 6000. Same thing - didn't have time to hit the brakes and plowed right into the poor thing. Just a big thump and that was that.
