I am not a fan of the visible universal lug pattern on after market wheels. IMO looks best with a center cap or bolt pattern specifically for the vehicle(5x115). I think those wheels are a bit too rice-ish for an Aurora though. If you like them thats what matters.

First.........no. Second....yes. Agree with Mark the second ones look great to me. The first ones look like they belong on a Mitsubishi Eclipse ... and Sall about the visible lug pattern. I like a slight sporty Aurora.

Check out some Lucerne wheels, you might like those and they look good on a classic they are also kind of like the wheels you posted. I would go bigger on the wheels, at least 17", then you can upgrade to the Lucerne v8 calipers, those are bigger brakes and won't work with 16" wheels.

I would agree that the second set looks better. I spent months searching for a set like the second posted but with a bit more definition of a sort of "split 5-spoke" design. I looked at thousands of wheels and found a beautiful set on tirerack but they only had 3 in 17" and were discontinued. www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/moda/swap/moda_md8_bs_ci3_l.jpgI did plenty of photoshop and wheel visualizers and concluded that 5 and paired 10 spoke were by far the best looking on the car. I found this car very difficult to find nice wheels for, and what I finally settled on is still not my ideal wheel. I may just be too picky, but I'd probably keep looking. The universal lug pattern showing is a bit of turn off for me, too.

i would definitely go with number two. the first one looks like it would go on an import.

are they a deep offset? It seems like all aftermarket rims on auroras have the wrong offset and the wheels stick way out of the wheel wells and look wrong to me

I think it's a waste if your going to upgrade to a same wheel size. But if that's what you like. You can always check my wheels that are for sale.

1st not bad; 2nd waaay better though. +1 for go to at LEAST 17's if not 18's.
18's are the best look on this car IMO. 16's are way too small, 17's work, 18's are perfect, 19's work, 20's okay; actually look good IF it's PRECISELY the right style. Anything bigger than 20" on this car is too much.

I like #2.
The first will look like a ricer car.

I already commented on this thread but the second set is similar to another set of 20s I'll be looking at this weekend.

Do yourself a favor and get 17 or 18s. I got 16s for mine and they look alright but I wish I had gotten them larger. I told myself they were just temporary until I needed more tires... That was 7 years ago ;D

Having 2nd Gen 17's I still think they are too small. I am not willing to dish out $1500 for new 20s and sacrifice the ride I've built but if can get for $500 or less for 3 months of ride I would haha. But yeah I think 18s would would be pretty much perfect.
