I know with our 5x115 wheel size this limits the choices for wheels. I've always liked the look of solid wheels and cant find a source. On my 80 camaro project car I have some solid dished centerlines. I found some in 5x114.3 but have no other specs. Another idea was putting on some black steel wheels from a compatible gm car and use full covering disc hubcaps. What do you think, dumb idea. Its just everyone has spokes.

Spoked wheels, especially chrome or bright silver, look better than solid wheels or wheel covers, IMHO.

Solid wheels, in my opinion, aren't very good. They usually weigh more, they prohibit viewing of your brakes, and i also believe they're hideous. especially on an Aurora.
That being said, I say just look at various manufacturer's websites and see if you can find any..

I do not think solid rim would look very good on an Aurora. At least how I see it in my mind. I agree with wireless that it would probably add a significant amount weight over stock too. As for the plain rims and hub caps idea... you could probably mock it up with some aluminum HVAC tape and step back for a look. Or have some mock it up in photoshop. You are talking something like this, right? Like I said though IMO not for an Aurora either way solid rim or hubcap. Does not hurt to try something different. It is only money, right?

Thanks again guys. After trying to mock something up I decided it wasnt what I wanted. I had my wife hold up some steel circles to the tires and it looked off. There are some cadillac seville wheels I saw that looked nice.

I like smoothies on wagons, but not on sedans. I have a set of chrome CTS wheels on mine, I personally like the way they look. I also have a set of stock chrome wheels, a set of second gen painted wheels and a set of aftermarket split spoke wheels. Personally I think the aftermarket and 01+ wheels are hideous. I thought I wanted a set of Chrysler 300C chome wheels until I saw them. The CTS wheels fit the cars overall look to me, but they are near impossible to find.

the first thing that came to mind was those bullet cars / top speed record breakers that they run on the salt flats. they always use the type of wheel cover shown in sall's response
