I did my muffler delete and sounds amazing but i want it louder. will removing the resonator and putting straight pipe there make it louder?

It will make it even louder in the cabin, and probably a little raspier. I wouldn't do it if it were me, but to each his own!
If you want it louder just unbolt the exhaust... it sounds like a stock car. Too loud for my taste haha.

To be honest, the only way you're going to get it louder is with a high flow cat or gutted cat... but then, that thing will road, and likely sound horrible.
On my Aurora, I replaced the resonator with a long 30" glasspack. It got rid of the popping, and didn't change drone much. I also got some large tips that affected the idle sound a lot. I didn't like how quiet the car was on idle, but yeah... still an awesome car.

Well, I put a magnaflow cat on my other aurora it sounded awesome with the straights. It'll run you about $100 for parts

i will make it louder. i was wondering how it might sound with dual resonators vs mufflers. in other words a resonator out back on each side instead of mufflers. i bet that would sound cool.

Well, all a resonator is is a straight through design, with a bit of area around the sides for the sound to deaden off in... the Aurora's resonator is pretty efficient for what it is. That being said, replacing it can be similar to using glasspacks as mufflers and in place of the resonator.

No mufflers, a high flow cat (or no cat) and a resonator delete.
I really advise completely getting rid of the cat. It'll make it sound awful.

a resonator delete, gutted cat, glass packs and up the piping by a modest 1/4 inch will sound identical to straight pipes. i should know 8(*_0)8
