Thanks man! 20x8.5 +45 offset with 255/35/20s! Perfect fit up front. However, I would consider a 0.5" spacer on the rear to bring them more flush. Factory sits back about an inch or more though.
I will get more pictures in due time. I am working on dropping it a bit. I have springs for the front but the rear is proving to be a pain. It's not as simple as adjusting the ELC as others have claimed.
You are no longer the king of the mods, Javi! Haha.

It's not as simple as adjusting the ELC as others have claimed. LOL! Yep, I called BS on that before. Lowering ride height is limited by the coil springs. Even if you relieved all pressure from the shocks, the drop wouldn't be remarkable and your car would ride like crap. You need shorter springs. ;D

Yep, I got a whole half inch lower by using a thread rod in place of the OEM link.

I just can't see any other way than shorter springs (if you're retaining the coil spring/shock/ELC setup). You can't cut our pigtaill springs and I highly doubt that you would use compressors.
Very intrigued as to what you guys have come up with.

Very intrigued as to what you guys have come up with. Right. I would never cut the pig tail springs. You just simply can't do that to pigtails. Only on tangential end springs can be safely to cut make shorter. Shorter springs with a higher spring rate. Just need to calculate for the desired drop you want. There is a little math to it. Knowing the OEM spring specs is also a must. I don't really know too much about it, but hopefully enough. So, let's see if it turns out right. ELC adjustment still necessary. Only other options is custom coil overs about twice the cost and no more ELC.

I knew you'd do it the "right" way. Do you think Eibach would give you the specs for the 3872.140 rears? No skin off their nose since that kit is no longer in production. Might be worth a shot.

Try to It wouldn't do any good. Front springs are the only usable thing for us. The kits rear springs are the same size as our OEM rear springs(with a different spring rate I figure). The Lucerne, Deville and DTS that kit is made for sit higher in the rear than our cars and use a different(taller) spring from factory. Right now up front I am sitting at 27.875" and the rear is at 29". Just want to bring the rear down 1" and can adjust the rake if I'd like to(to an extent). So, if they would give up the front spring specs. If this works then others would have it pretty easy. Although if this works out calculating for front springs wouldn't be difficult.

Rear lowered 1" to 28"(can get stock down to 29 but spec should be 29.5" AFAIK) to match front. I'm at 27.875" trim height in front and 28" trim height in the rear. Just where I want it Suspension is 100% brand new now! Rides and performs the best this car ever will minus the heavier wheels. None of that cushy soft OEM ride. Next up is some 1/2-3/8" custom lugcentric wheel spacers for the rear to bring the rims flush with the fender. While working on the shock tower brace. Then tint eventually. Keep putting it off...

Haha yes. It is pretty dramatic IMO. 1-1.5" drop in the rear. Makes OEM look like 4x4 stance haha. Looks much better IMO as well. Very happy with where it is now. Don't want it slammed.

Give it some time. I want to see if these settle or have any issues before recommending anything. I love the stance though!

Thanks!
Working on having some 6mm-12mm hub spacers or hubcentric wheel spacers custom CNC'd to bring the rear wheels more flush with the fenders. Just hoping if I do that I won't send the tire in to the fender. The offset is perfect up front and wheels are flush but the rear is still set in about 1/2" but not the whole 1"+ the factory wheels are. Just looks funny to me some times haha.

That really does look great. I notice how high mine sits it the back way too much now, sometimes it seems to sit like a hot rod lol.

Did you do the spacers? Hard to tell from the side shot... Sits nice though! No. No spacers yet. Still contemplating it. Here is a decent view of the 'gap'.

Cool. Post a thread when you get them! Might look okay on a 2G. They are called F19 Rugburn though lol.
The drop is still holding up just fine but admittedly haven't drive it much this winter.

oh yea they Forte i know but i will post a pic when i get them. Question... Have your rims made a difference in gas mileage? Well, I am certain they have negative effect on gas mileage. They weigh more but not sure by how much. I don't have stock Classic rims for a comparison but rather 2G 17s.
