They are Falken ZIEX 912s. Just put 400 miles on them and they're great. Got them at TiresPlus. They weren't advertized for buy 3 get one free, but he gave them to me for that if I got the road hazard warranty. Total out the door: $537. They can be seen here. What a difference! No more vibration or noise! I had been wondering if there was something wrong with the suspension. Very happy that wasn't the case! They are a performance tire and made the car feel lighter on her feet without being harsh. It didn't totally go without a hitch. One of the guys was about to mount one of the replacements on the car with .25 oz. still showing on the balancer. He said when it said that, it really meant 0! I got the manager and they put it on another machine and it read .50 oz. All were then done on that one and they were 1.75, 1.25, .75, and one needed nothing. Both machines were Hunters. I requested they use a torque wrench on the wheels, not sure if they would have on their own. Overall, very pleased with them for an inexpensive tire.

I got these exact tires my last set. From tires plus. They wouldn't balance for me even after I had two of them replaced for being out of round. One finally blew up on the highway. Not blew a hole, the entire sidewall exploded. I ditched them and went back to Goodyears. I had just aired them all up to 32 a couple days before or I would have thought low air pressure is what did it... Who knows. I hope your experience is better than mine! I'll never buy Falken or deal with Tires Plus again. Hopefully I got a bad set and my local store sucks for your case lol

One thing I did find in my research with lots of lower priced tires is that it can be hit and miss for quality control. These didn't take much weight to balance and they were truly round. Noise is usually another indicator and these are so quiet that I could only hear the engine at highway speed with windows down. And no, I don't have a noisy engine, lol. Stock exhaust and intake (but with the beauty cover off temporarily). Whether they stay that way as they wear or even get close to 65k miles remains to be seen. More than likely not on the mileage claim. The Goodyears I took off were noisy as hell and all were wobbly, but one had a broken belt and probably wasn't far off from a fate like the one you pictured! Admittedly, I waited way too long to get rid of them.

Honestly that. 25 of an oz off was fine ud never feel it. Now that it said. 50 on the other machine could of just been how it was mounted on the machine

Whether true or not, he said it had been called in to be calibrated and thought it had been done. Plus I've heard so many stories about how sensitive these cars are to balance, and didn't want to take a 400 mile trip with the shakes.

I was gonna say but he beat me to it, Collins had the same tires. If you want full mileage out of your tires just roate them side to side / front to back every oil change and criss cross front to rear other side every other oil change. make sense?

These tires are directional, so be aware of that as well. You can't rotate them in the conventional manner.

A lot of work to accomplish a near zero sum gain. Tire rotation is designed to wear out all 4 tires at the same time so the tire cos can sell them 4 at a time. I rotate F-R only, never cross car, and only about every 15-20,000 miles. I also adjust tire pressures to promote center tire wear as the edges tend to naturally wear the most. Last tires that came off the Aurora had 90,000 on the rears and just over 50,000 on the fronts, Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus....and they are doing duty on the Intrigue right now. and should get at least another 20,000 out of them....

I used to have unidirectionals, so had no choice. Given she's so front-heavy, I go 32# front and 28-30# rear. Front pressure feels right, haven't had these long enough to feel out the rears. They're at 30# now, but I'm feeling they could go down. I don't keep anything in the truck to speak of, tail sits right even with no air assist in the shocks.

40 pounds in the front and 35 in the rear works well for me with the Michelins.
