I forget to log out pretty often. Is there not a time-out setting, I couldn;t find one in the profile editor?

Login page has a "Keep me logged in" checkbox so I assume there is a default time out, although I have no idea how long it actually is or how/if it can be changed. Sorry.

Not that I've seen. I usually am on my home or work computer though so there's no need to worry about logging out. I'm sure someone on the support board could tell you. There is a "keep me logged in for 2 hours" or whatever option at the login page though, if I'm not mistaken? At least there used to be.

When you log in, a browser cookie is initiated to "remember" you are logged in as you browse around the site. If you don't check "Keep Me Logged In" (which means the cookie never expires), then it should delete itself each time you fully close your browser. Then another login is required next time you open your browser and come to the site. Security settings on individual browsers might affect this too.
The Proboards cookies may have a default time limit built in, but I'm not sure what it is. I browsed around the Proboards Support forum but couldn't find that question asked before.

Keep Me Logged In is not checked on login page. Account stays on forever unless I click logout. Which I forget to do often. It would stay logged in for days given the chance.
Does both in Firefox 18 and Opera 12.15.

And you close your browser each day too? Does the same thing happen with all browsers (and which one do you usually use)? Any change if you shut down and restart the computer entirely? Just curious on gathering as much information as possible, and then one of us can post the question on support.proboards.com and see what staff there has to offer on this topic. There may be some updates to the login process in the Proboards v5 software as well, which I believe all forums (including ACNA) will be upgraded to soon.

I have not checked any of my settings, but I too remain logged in a lot when I walk away from the computer. It's 9:50 pm Central time now, I am done being on the computer, but I will leave myself logged in with the browser remaining open like I do, so if anyone sees this thread they can see if it says I am online and comment about when or when not I was visibly on the forum.

Haha forgot about this thread. I was able logged in. Didn't log out. Closed Browser. Rebooted. Reopened browser to forum and still logged in lol.
It happens on every pc in the house and tablets regardless of browser or OS.

I guess you'll have to manually log out on each device?

If they're at your house, do you really have to worry about logging out? Is there someone in your house who would get onto your account and maliciously mess stuff up? Do you access the club from public computers often?

Nope. I never use free wifi or public computers. The forum feature just doesn't work, but no one can shed light on it. Every other forum I frequent will automatically log you out after X amount of time with no activity.
