I would like to wax my new rims completely before mounting them up. Anyone have any suggestions for wheel wax?

I use eagle ones "Never Dull" on my chromies and it leaves a nice shiny finish. I use it about once a month. However I wash my car like 4xs a month.
Edit: I've also used maguairs compound wax on them as we'll. but the never dull is just as good, and quicker to use.

Yeah Nevr-Dull is not a wax though it's wadding polish. I have a can of it. I am looking for something specifically catered to wheels. I see a few products out there, but reviews are few and far between. This is the only one I see available locally. SMART WAX Rimwax Chrome and Alloy Cleaner. www.smartwax-usa.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=10100

I've never really tried a wax persay, I've always used turtle wax chrome polish. Not sure if that counts as a wax haha. It works well enough though. (I realize you've already got something lol)

i havent had a chance yet to try any wheel waxes, been meaning to pick some up and try it tho. Theres also a product by Meguiars called brake dust barrier, should make cleaning the rims somewhat easier.

Any time you use a polish like Nevr-Dull and don't coat over with wax you are just inviting corrosion. They need sealed afterwards. Just an FYI guys.

I dont use it any more, but I had nice results with meguiars brake dust barrier wheel protectant. Lasts a while, too.

Did you ever try that out Sall? How'd it work? Yes, I have used it a few times and it works very well. Will likely clean and coat them again before storage here soon enough unfortunately.
