How is this replaced? I can not even seem to find the blub and our local policeman will not be happy if he sees me driving it again at night.

The easiest way is to take off the rear plate mount with the 4 bolts behind the plate. There should be two bolts holding each light. Remove the bolts and the whole light housing should slide back and come down. Then just twist the housing to remove it, and you should get access to the bulb. I hope this helps

I thought it was just two screws/bolts just underneath the lip of the bumper above license plate.. I could be wrong though. I think it was two per bulb and whole bulb drops down after undoing them

there are 2 bolts per bulb under the lip. you take those 2 bolts out, and the bulb housing slides back, then comes down. the housing then twists off to get to the bulb. it makes it easier to get the bulb out when you have the license plate bracket off.

Just did this on my 1999. Just take off the license plate, use a 10mm socket to remove the 4 housing bolts and twist off the socket. Mine took #3155 bulbs.
