The product is called plasti dip and I'm really interested in the concept. Basically it's a plastic paint you would spray on your car and after a few months if you want a new color you simply peel it off almost as if it was Saran rap and spay on another color. Theirs all sorts of crazy colours, a few change colors according to the angle the light hits the car! There's kits for rims and to get the supply's you need to get started would cost about $200-300 but you can do this over and over. I would do it, I just don't have the money lol

I'm about a third of the way into my plasti dip project with the first coat, my mechanic is still working on getting a spray booth for this, mine is all done with rattle can so far, I'll have him do the last 2 coats with sprayer, he'd only charge me material cost, you can buy it at Home Depot, mine is actually flexi dip, same ******* but it's rustoleum brand, only cause Home Depot had crates of it and only 4 cans of plasti dip in only red and white

Once your mechanic gets the sprayer working you should try out a color changing coat, like the alien or chameleon the whole car. Also you should put a layer of gloss on so it looks like car paint. If I was to do it I would have done pearl white with glossifier with a gun metal grey undercoat, but that's just me. Oh and you can peel off the aurora logo and decals, it's best to do it within the first hour of spraying but you should be careful about it!

im thinking bout final coating matte black with gloss over it, if I were to change it to a different color from black that would get me in trouble with law. We have to register color of vehicle and I don't wana change the registration on it, it's a headache, i think it's on the title too. Our cops have plate scanners when they drive buy and if the color that pops up on their CPU doesn't match ur car it's a reason for them to pull you over, don't need any more hassles from them.... Got one too many equipment violation tickets.

I'm gna buy 2 gallons of plasti dip black on one glossifier. That'll run 150 and the kit is 150 so like you said, about 300. That's a month away though, getting new max air shocks tmrw

My car dr. Said it's a go ahead, said if I buy the kit he'll finish the car, wana go with this 442 color theme, black with gold center stripes, not sure if I'll do the stripes on the side, I'd have to experiment with that idea
