I am trying to do a rear job on my 03 rora but I am stumped on removing the caliper. I have taken off the bottom bolt but I am confused as to whether I need to clamp the caliper in order to get it to pivot up and allow me to slide out the top pin. According to the 2003 service manual I need to c clamp the outward pad and back of the caliper in order for it to rotate up but it seems like i should be able to pry it up after the bottom bolt is off. If anyone has a guide or pictures from a previous job please direct me to the forum. Thanks!

Not my video but this is how I do it. Yes, it's a Bonneville, exactly the same.
