So my Aurora is up for an oil change after 12k miles, I can't find any 10w-40 Royal Purple around here at all anymore, so instead of buying it offline for 10qts at 8.50 a qt + 10 bucks hazmat handling, I went to wal-mart to see about Castrol edge once again no 10w-40, so I see Rotella T6 after working at an oil change place for over a year I know Rotella is good stuff, it's 19 bucks a gallon and it's 5w-40 so Imma give it a shot and let you guys know how it stacks up compared to the other full synthetics.

That is what I run in my Classic with M1 EP filter. Been too lazy to send for analysis.

I run Rotella T6 5W-40 spring/summer/fall and Mobil1 Synthetic 0W-40 in the winter (low oil pressure issues when cold with Rotella). Both with Mobil1 EP filter. Been great so far!

I use Brad Penn oil, it has all the additives my engine needs that aren't in other oils. www.penngrade1.com

Man I'm glad to hear it's good, thankfully it doesn't get that cold here in OK just really boiling hot in the summer.

Already put around 250-270 miles on the oil not as smooth as royal purple nor does the engine run as cool but weight differences seem to be the only reason. So far I do like it from 78 yesterday to 46 today and 37 right now no problems what so ever.
