Picked up a high-mileage 2003 Aurora last night for cheap. It has some issues but mostly just cosmetic and some fixable suspension issues.
One question I have is -- is the air compressor in the rear the same part as the one on a 2000 Bonneville SSEi? I have a wrecked SSEi I can pull parts from for a short period.

Should be plug and play along with the rest of the rear suspension. ... and you may consider editing your signature.

Should drop that SC3800 into the Aurora haha, it HAS been done before. The Aurora I bought has high mileage and if for some reason the motor or trans goes, that is my plan. My Bonneville had only 40k on the odometer, I inherited it from my grandfather and I wrecked it last week changing lanes on the interstate, hit a patch of black ice. I'm gutted because it was a fantastic car, but it will live on in bits and pieces. I would imagine the cradle would bolt right up from the Bonneville, and I could probably use the Bonnie's PCM, but I don't know for sure. So far, the engine/trans in the Aurora run and shift just fine.

That guy said it took a lot of tuning and never revealed anything.
