It's winter, roads are slippery and wanted to try the active stability on my Aurora 2003. Found an empty parking lot and did some skidding - lateral skid. That system really works... you really feel the car "forced" back on its proper course. And maybe I'm crazy, but also felt the steering response changing when the system kicked in. More testing to come. Anyone else did some similar testing? I am really starting to like that car

Yes. I got my 2001 4.0 back in Dec. of 2000, and in storms during Jan, Feb & March of 2001, as soon as the car began to understeer or oversteer in snow, I found that I had to do very little steering correction to get it back straight compared to cars without stability control. Over the years, it's prevented crashes on slippery surfaces.
