I've been absolutely obsessed with modifications after I painted my grills black to freshen up the looks of my car a bit, and I've been looking around the forum and youtube for things the average joe could do. I've made a small list of things and the project that intrigues me the most is the cold air intake. Theres a sticky with a 2nd gen v6 CAI and there is a lot of potential to this engine. Air is taken in right behind the headlight through this small white pipe, thus not a lot of air is being sucked in the engine. So what I want is someone with a stock, cold air intake, or have diverted more air to do is go out and buy some cheap temperature and air velocity sensors and record their results. I'm guessing that the 4.0 and the 3.5 have the same air intake setup, however 1st gens are going to be different from what I can tell. As for the setup, I don't know how you would be able to see the readings. Now I probably won't be able to do this because prom and graduation is right around the corner, so money is more or less nonexistent at this point, though my dads shop has a lot of things that can resemble tubing I can work with. It will be interesting to see the results and compare them
