Really easy to do. you'll need a torx 47 i believe to remove the 4 screws holding the seat to the chassis. you'll need a razor blade to open the loom that runs across the floor. you'll want to pull the connector out and open up the wires. use the heat shrink butt connectors to connect all 4 wires together. put everything back in it's place and you're done.
** quick note... test everything for functionality before you put everything back together lol

No the drivers rear didn't work when I got it and then the rear passenger worked when it wanted to, finally the front passenger stopped.. Than might be the motors its very common issue. Best way is to test power to the plugs and if its coming in than its def just the motor.

Wow, this is getting pandemic, lol! All passenger door modules have to send a request to (and get a response from) the driver's door module over a serial data link before anything will operate. There is a splice under the carpet, under the driver's seat, in the body wiring harness where these data lines connect. A poor connector was used for this splice and it often fails, primarily from water intrusion and subsequent corrosion. Here's a pic from another thread showing the splice; I'm thinking serial data splice. You'll have to pull the driver's seat and carpet to check it though. And welcome to ACNA!

I have this problem none of the windows or door locks work for none of the car doors. When I first got the car only the driver front would let up and down but now none of em works. Wondering is it the fuse or door regulators

Are you able to adjust your mirrors? It may be the driver door module coupled with the bad switch under the driver's seat for the other three windows. You might want to try getting a spare driver door control module from a junkyard and swapping it out to see if the driver door works again. I would say more than likely the switch underneath the driver's seat is culprit for the other three doors.

My olds is having the same issue. When I first got mine all windows worked then then they stopped and the locks stopped then the passenger win.stopped. the only one that works is drivers side. I will look for the splice today and see if that works. Thanks.

I took the driver seat out and cut the carpet back to access the wires up under the carpet were that link was described and the black table they had around it was corrosive on it. I cut the link out and took one piece of wire and twisted all the wires together also I took black tape and heat shrink and tape again to seal it so it don't corrode again. They put that link look thing in there like that so whenever you had a problems with the windows and door locks you would have to take it to the dealership. Just shows u how they get over on you when they make these cars. Im glad someone found that and informed us cause I have not had Windows working for 2 years now. So thanks to the club.

Could this be my issue as well. Drivers side window works but the other three do not. If I hit the switches on the drivers side I can hear the relay clicking on each door. I can go to reach door and hit the switches and hear the relays clicking. Thanks

I am sure GM is not sabotaging their cars since this issue could of happen during warranty . I seen many people removing floor mats and than at winter times or in rain slowly over the years water soaks up the carpet and it leaks inside where the wires are. Its just an oversight. however same way cars build today by all the brands and now its worse since they have tons more of those wires.
