Power steering return line leak - I replaced part of it. Used a 1996 Cadillac Power Steering cooler I had laying around. Not sure if it cools much, but it looks cool...

This deflector is actually where the wide plastic cover will snap on. Removed for now, will have to cut an opening in that one to let some airflow in/out.

It'll work if there's enough air flow. I used one on a car not comparable to an Aurora (1972 442 W-25 455). I mounted it in front of the condenser. The hose on the outgoing side of the cooler felt cooler than the intake.

no, I never use an external hosting service. This was uploaded here, and I did it specically to avoid such issues. But Proboard must have changed something and it broke older images. SUCKS.

When you click the "Add image to post" button on the Create Post page, you are in fact using a third party hosting site. Your uploaded image isn't stored here, it has nothing to do with Proboards... The host we use is postimage.org. They've recently been transitioning through a domain name change (formerly postimg.org), and inevitably, shtuff happens, lol.
I copied your original post and changed postimg.org to postimage.org, and as you can see, that's a pretty simple work-around. Power steering return line leak - I replaced part of it. They should have done a redirect from postimg.org to postimage.org in order to get backcompatibility and avoid breaking the whole forum

Rob, I didn't change the original, just showed the work-around. Teach a man to fish type of thing, lol!
Think I got this issue fixed though. I censored the word 'p0stimg', replacing it with 'postimage'. Of course, a lot of text is screwed up now, but it looks like all of the pics are back...

On the subject of your cooler, I went and got one from autozone(simple 20 dollar one) and mounted it in the lower fake radiator fins on the front fender. Those little stupid things all the way on the bttom, ya know? Basically, my return line was shot in more than one place so I cut it off at the metal going into the rack, flared it, put hose on it all the way to the new cooler, then from the cooler to the pump. Routed all nicely around the air pump and out of the way of stuff, secured it in places with the original line holder and a couple auxillary zip ties. Ill have to take photos one of these days. Sure beats the outrageous price of the return line which honestly was bogus how it was routed lol.
