I have an 2002 oldsmobile aurora with stock 16" wheels. I recently just brought some (what I thought were 2005 cadillac sts 18") wheels which I thought would fit directly on my car. Well I go to put them on and the don't fit! Now I am $300 down and still don't have any wheels. I was sure they would fit but they don't so I am stuck on taking them back to the guy at and random shop I got them from, or try to sell them. I NEED HELP
Inside the factory wheel should have the bolt pattern and offset.
Thanks guys, I looked inside the rim for the parts number and found that they are really 2008 cadillac xlr wheels with a 5x120 bolt pattern. In gonna try to take them back to the guy that sold them to me because I swore they came off a cadillac are.
I'd add caliper size to the list of things to check.
I put '01 Grand Prix wheels on my "classic" and they're a tight squeeze around the larger calipers used on the Aurora.
I do like the look of them though. There's a wheel refinishing place close by, so these were in perfect shape when I got them, and I even managed to get a good trade on the old "orange squeezer" wheels that came off.
