Hello,
So intermittently I have been getting the ABS light, Trac Off, and Service Stability DIC message. Happens once I've been driving for around 15-20 minutes. If I turn the car off, then back on, the lights are off and stay off until they (seemingly randomly) come on again while driving a long distance. I do know that my brake pads (and possibly rotors) need to be replaced soon, if that has anything to do with it. Thoughts?

Not sure about the brake pads and rotors - usually it's one of the Wheel Speed Sensors failing. Does it usually happen while driving on bumpy roads? Or maybe can you hear one of the bearings whining? The easiest way to find out would be to have the codes pulled. Fortunately you have a 2G, so probably any simple scanner could read them.

I'm not sure about the bumpy roads, it typically happens when I'm driving down the freeway, typically pretty smooth there. I do hear some squeaking, sounds like it's coming from the passenger side. Might that be it? It might be a little difficult to get the codes as I don't have a scanner and the codes aren't thrown as soon as I turn the car back on so I can't really go to Autozone to get them read either.

Well actually the fact that the light is gone once you turn the car off doesn't mean you couldn't get the code - they get stored in the memory. It would show up as a "History" code. The squeaking sound might be an indication... Also if it happens after driving some distance it might be similar to what I'm currently facing on my Classic - it especially happens on the hotter days. Lately, when the temperatures fell here, I drove for 400 km with no issues so I'd think high temperatures (and heat from the brakes) might also influence that. Anyway the safest would be to have the codes pulled unless you have the chance to just raise the car, put it in neutral, best take the right wheel off and try to spin the disc - if it makes the noise and generally is hard to turn you have the answer. You don't want to replace the wrong hub

Exactly right, if the light was on before it will be in the stored codes whether it is on when you read it or not.

UPDATE: Got all the brake pads/rotors replaced (front and back) but that didn't solve anything (aside from the squeaking noise). Went to a mechanic I trust to get the code pulled, came up with the Right Front Speed Sensor Circuit Open/Short. So is this something that can be fixed myself? Does this mean the entire wheel bearing needs to be replaced?

Does this mean the entire wheel bearing needs to be replaced? Probably. But it could be a broken/chafed wire or bad connection. Check your harness and clean the connector first...

Didn't know where the sensors were so wasn't sure how to check them.

My Final 500 now shows the same symptoms continuously. Paid a GM shop to hookup the Tech II to read it, diagnosed as open circuit in the EBCM. This is big buck$, part alone is about $850 if you find one on a dusty GM dealer shelf somewhere (#12226954 for active control systems). There is no aftermarket replacement available. GM Pars Direct shows the part but does not stock it. Found one guy on eBay selling a used unit with no warranty for $450, however found a reference to a shop who "refurbishes" these units for $200 with lifetime warranty (labor to R&R is, of course, your nickle). "Flagship One Inc" at www.fs1inc.com/. I've got one on the way, will update the post once the part arrives and is installed. BTW - the speed sensors are integral to the bearing assembly and cannot be replaced. I have found that intermittent Traction Off lights can sometimes be cleared by unplugging, cleaning with blow gun and replacing the plug. UPDATE - part received from Flagship was correct but they also included the solenoid/pump assembly (logic unit EBCM is bolted to the solenoid). Installed, bled, codes cleared and now works correctly. Flagship One INc did provide the correct part, however it was in fact just a junkyard takeout. They did it correctly and cleaned the unit before sending, I am satisfied with what I got for the money!

Most of the time its not EBCM. its lose or bad wire or bad Hub bearing i never saw Aurora or even intrigue had those replaced i have feeling it will not fix ur issue. I believe Autozone can scan ABS codes free if u can pull up the code would be better. I had 2 intrigues both went up to 200k and now all my family's have auroras and most time it was bad or broken wire and not EBCM. I think its 1% chance to be the issue.
