2001 aurora 3.5 A clicking noise developed the other day. It was coming from the air compressor. A mechanic thought my compressor was bad. After replacing the air compressor the clicking noise is still there. The clicking noise is intermediate. Comes and goes. Could the problem be with the height sensor or the RIM module. Could use some advice!

Could be....I would suspect a suspension part first.
Figure out what kind of lube or grease we are allowed to put on our rear suspension bushings and then proceede to test. Lube one or two then cycle the leveler and repeat as necessary.
This might be a long chaise on a 20 year old car. I am not great at finding noises. A professional mechanic though, shame on him.
Is it ANY quieter after changing the compressor? If not At the very least make the guy give you the old one back so you can save it or sell it on e-bay.

Hey bowler , check for a short to ground on the WHT wire(pin C) at the compressor plug, just a guess...
