Hey guys.
I have a 2002 Oldsmobile aurora and i just recently realized that my trunk has alot of water in it.
I opened up my trunk and my spare tire section and it is full of water. I am a newbie so i have no car experience at all.
Is this a problem that i need to go to the mechanics for or is it possible for me to just fix it.

I saw in your introduction thread that you have a sunroof. Check your drain lines! They come down the C pillars, through the trunk and exit out of the rear wheel wells. These drain lines have a connection that can separate (of course, inside the trunk, thanks GM)...
Could also be the trunk seal itself. Easy fix there, CAFEFULLY remove it and reseal...
Also, a few '02 V8s got the two piece steel deck lid. The plate surround supposedly leaks, sorry, no advice to give on this one.
Good luck!

Mine used to get water from the trunk shock mount area. It had ripped and been poorly repaired. I "fixed it" with JB Weld lol.
