Nice.
I still have mine that I got off Shawn. Perhaps you should post a complete how-to for anyone else that wants to try it on their own.

OK, anyone listen up here is the steps to putting them in very easily. 1st. jack up the car, and take the front wheel off, (drivers/passangers) * after the wheel is off, carefully take off the clips that hold up the inside fender wall not sure how many clips there is, u dont have to take them all off to get into the light * after most of the clips are off that u can get ur hand in and actually see the corner lens carfully take the 4 Clips off the lights that holds the corner lens on the car behind the bumper. * after u carfully take the clips off, and untwist the lights off, take it out and put the clear corner lens in its place. *After u put the lens in , carefully put the 4 clips on the lens where u took them off the origional lens. * twist back in the lights in the right slots and make sure that the lens is in the bumper and its not crooked. * Carefully put the fender well back in, and the clips back in the right place, make sure they snap or u will loose them. * Put the wheel back on the car , lower it , and ur done (THE BULBS IN THE CORNER LENS ARE 1 3057 BULB AND 1 194 BULB) Make sure that you have AMBER colored bulbs, for the turn signal blinker!!!!!! here are some pics of how to get into the light below: Wheel is off, Fender Well is pulled down. Factory Light is now out. New Clear lens in. Hope this helps for anyone who does this.......

Cool, nice write up. So did you just remove the yellow lens or did you put a white or clear lens in its place? If the latter, where did you get the replacement lens? Also, what are you going to do with your original corners?

Very Cool! I did something very similar with the Alero headlight corner. I like subtle mods like yours froogyscike. Just thought you guys might like to see. I also color matched the bezels. Mods like these are not hard if you have patience. Before: After:

You have to heat the whole assembly so that it mildy melts the silicone sealer, then pull the lense cover from the assembly. Once done, the bezel comes out easily to paint to desired look. The amber marker just gets easily pryed out of its clips. Reverse the removal procedure to reinstall the bezel and lense cover. If you do a neat enough job you can just reheat the silicone and compress lense onto assembly, if not you need to seal with more silicone.
Seperating the pices took 1/2 hr per side, painting took much longer due to all the prep work before painting. Hope that explains it in a nutshell.

Anybody know where you can get the clips for the corner lens Mine are missing on one lens. Do I need to buy the complete lens to get the retaining clips? Thanks

I wish 2nd gen's could be modified like that, the entire lense is amber. You sure there's no way to seperate it? Even if you heat it up? Also, just from looking at the pictures it looks like the 1st Gen and 2 Gen side marker lights (I've always referred to those as side markers rather than corners) look damn near the same size and shape. I'd be willing to bet it wouldn't take a lot of modification to get them to fit. Can someone take out a tape measure and just get some rough measurements as far as height and width for their lights? You should be able to just file it down if it's a little too big.

So I'll break the clips if I don't take the tire off? So I am still wondering if there needs to be a clear lens that needs to be put where the amber is taken out.. Or can the light be put back together without replaceing the amber lens with clear.. I don't have any plastic laying around for that so I don't want to tear it apart to not beable to cutomize it right..

For some darn reason I couldn't get my lights separerated.. I used a blow dryer but that sucked so I switched to a heat gun.. But still didn't come loose at all.. I even melted a lil bit of the plastic backin.. Do u have to heat the whole thing before you pry it open.. Cuz I was just heatin like one end & it wouldnt seperate at all.. Can some one gimme any hints or tips to getting the lense apart the rest I can figure out..
