awehlage .... One thing I did notice is that the d1s projectors sit a little deeper in the bezels... Not sure if you notice that at all but do you think that would actually limit the amount of light that is spread out across the road? Right now with the Morimoto that I have installed they do sit I want to say about a half inch deeper than what the factory projector is due in this I think is actually what's limiting the light that meets the side of the road I bet if they were closer to where the factory ones were positioned if not all the way into the bezel they would be a lot brighter Yes, the Valeo sit back deeper than stock halogens. It probably does limit the spread of light somewhat but if you are concerned about lighting the sides more throw your projectors on. With a clear lens swap it would be even better with more light on the road than a frensel lens. My hybrid maxima/mdx bixenon projectors sit farther back than the stock halogens too. It doesn't bother me because if I need more side light I throw on my fogs which are Hellas retrofitted with HID bulbs and I purposely aimed them more to the sides than straight ahead. The swap was easy and simple and definitely an upgrade!
