After fixing the corrosion under the drivers seat the power lock will open but won't lock. You can hear it click at all doors trying to lock.

the clicking was when it was unlocking. Hear nothing when I try to lock. any hits or does someone have the wiring for the locks

works when the key is not in the ignition. Is that the way it's suppose to work?

Yep, that's the "Anti-Lockout" feature so you can't lock your keys in the car. You can override it by holding the switch down for more than 3 seconds (I think). BE SURE your window is down, haha!
