It's a Gen 4. Pretty sweet. The new trigger assembly and sights should be in this week. I just got back from buying a Ruger LCP .380 for $194. It came with a lock, 1 mag and a pocket holster. I've never had a .380 before and I thought it might fill a niche between nothing a a 9mm. Haha nice. The LCP is a little snappy but manageable. I have the LCP Custom. They came out with the LCP 2 a few months ago. Put a hogue grip and changed recoil springs to 13lbs. Makes for nice carry in the summer in light clothing.

I ordered a new 7 rd mag with finger extension for the LCP. It's supposed to really help with the grip. I put the new trigger in the Glock 26 today. The trigger pull went from 5.5 lbs to 4.5 lbs. The flat faced trigger feels so much better than the Glock factory trigger. The new HI VIZ sights for the Glock 26 are supposed to come in tomorrow. I'll pop them in and I'll see how everything works this Friday when I go back to the range. (the range is only open Friday - Monday) The next toy I'm looking at is either a Springfield Armory M-14 or the Ruger Gunsite Scout rifle both in .308.

A few years ago I gave my Nephew just about every firearm I had except for three handguns. I'm just getting back into collecting since I now have the time and money.
What platform is the .308 AR you have pictured?

LR-308(DPMS style). Many more parts available vs AR10.

Sounds like it would be a lot of fun to shoot. Wasn't the AR10 in .308 the original caliber before the .556/223?
No new guns for awhile. My John Deere riding lawn mower engine blew up (literally) on April Fools Day. So a new mower set me back about $1600. I do have enough to keep me busy though. I have a new trigger coming in for the Ruger 10/22 and the HI VIZ sights for the Glock 26. I'll get to the range and do a lot of shooting next week.

I've been doing a lot of shooting lately. The new Ruger 10/22 trigger is really sweet. I recently bought a Savage Axis in .308, a Glock 21 (.45ACP) and a Glock 19 (9mm). I put Vortex Venom red dots on the 21 and 19. I also upgraded the triggers, springs etc in the Glocks. The red dot makes shooting so much easier since I can't see the iron sights very well. The G21 is really accurate. I can punch out the bulls eye at 15 yards with one magazine. I just ordered a Timney trigger for my AR15. That should drop the trigger weight to 3 lbs. So much fun!

Here's my EDC. Nothing special, I work in various office buildings in downtown Chicago. I suppose I should've included my backback which typically holds at least two laptops and an assortment of cables..

As the title states; What is your everyday carry? Here is mine: - S&W M&P Shield 9mm or .45. Summer or deep carry Ruger LCP Custom .380. Just started breaking in the leather DeSantis IWB holster today, but previously used a kydex holster. - Mini Pen Type 120 Lumen Flashlight(single AA battery) - Small Gerber Pocket Knife - 'Tactical' EDC Pen - Wallet - Key Fob / Keys(Wish I could find another Aurora keychain :/) - Cell Phone (Android of course!) - Chap Stick The small collection suits my needs well on a daily basis! I carry a government model 1911 45 ACP a little thought and effort must go into concealing this during the summer months

I have a Sport II as well. It was my first. It is a fine rifle. Put some basic magpul furniture on it and a red dot. Really its weak point is the 1:9 twist. Then started building my own how I wanted them now. So modular, it is like legos, except more expensive. That is cool. I am not really a Trump fan(not to interject politics) but he may get something done in the pro 2A aspect at some point. I would hope for the hearing protection act, but won't hold my breathe. I'd like to have suppressors without waiting months and getting taxed $200. Open and conceal carry is legal here with no permit. Just no reciprocity. We have quite a few reciprocity states though for our permits. I have a Smith and Wesson M&P Sport 2. It's an "entry level" AR. All I've done to it was put a Barska 4X scope on it. I'm not going to do anything else to it. Just leave it the way it is. If I wanted to put upgraded components on it I would have spent more money bought a better AR. As far as CCW goes I really do not carry very much. I go on base a lot and I can not take it on base. I believe President Trump is going to change that so we can bring firearms on bases. I think he is also going to push for CCW licenses to be like drivers licenses where the are good across all states.. YEA!!! This is just my opinion and a little food for thought when John Browning designed the 1911 45 ACP it was never intended to be a gentleman started gun for a hunting pistol it was designed with the intent to shoot another human being. I would presume those of us that carry a concealed weapon do so with the hope that we will never have to use it to defend ourselves. Although my attitude is changed a little from the training I received in the Marine Corps your pistol is used to fight your way back to your rifle. And from personal experience in Beirut Lebanon the 45 ACP does exactly what it was designed to do not at all these new Buck Rogers space pistols aren't fun

[quote author=" tigger" But seriously, I know you've noticed how low participation has been lately. Most new members sign up, post a question, get an answer and go on their way. They aren't in it to keep these cars, they got it cheap because it was neglected - now help me fix it... And a lot of established members just aren't coming around much anymore, for whatever reason. I usually check the user numbers when I log in and for the past 24 hours, as of this post; 1 staff member(Thanks for hanging in there with us Rob!), 16 members, 200ish guests. That's kind of pathetic for a 8k+ member club. Think about it, no more MFA, no meets, and this year, no calendar. Just like the number of these cars still on the road, interest in this forum is dwindling... You don't say. I think it sorta started when we stopped having fall meets in Missouri & the MFA. I wasn't on here for years after that when in college and Roarah was trashed. Of course now that I'm back in a running Aurora I can't stop posting lol!

Once he gets his Uzi, that is, lol!!! I ask a question occasionally and I've made a few smart a**** comments. However I spend a lot of time reading and researching my Aurora issues rather than being a pain in the a×× that expects someone else to solve my problems. I thank you all for your vast amount of information that is on this website as it really is the only place I have found to find information about these cars... (Other than the FSM)... As for my EDC,if I showed you then you could use that knowledge to your advantage, and possibly my demise... From the looks of the average EDC it makes me wonder if all Aurora owners are government agents. Lol
