Hello everyone, the molding is cracking (3 area's) and at this point I could probably use some type of adhesive/sealant to fix, but not sure how long that would hold up. Has anyone replaced or had the molding replaced? Not sure but the molding look's like it may be installed on the glass before placed on the car. I'm looking for a possible alternative to pulling or having the glass pulled and replacing the complete molding. I appreciate your suggestions.

Start conditioning that seal right now. I use Meguiar's #40, but any rubber /weatherstripping conditioner will help at this point. Be generous, let it soak in all it will, I'm saying MULTIPLE applications. Do the door seals, windshield, trunk and sunroof while you're at it! Ounce of prevention...
That should help it from getting any worse, but in the end, sealant may be your only option. The rear window seal is discontinued.

Thank's for the response tigger. I think at this point, I'll use some clear sealant to prevent further splitting and will take your advice about the seal conditioning.
