I can't believe after more than 15 yrs with my '01 I'm having this problem. Out of the blue last week I noticed the date on the DIC was off by 1 day. There had not been a disconnect of the battery. After checking the owners manual on resetting and followed the instructions I did the reset. I then found that the date changed at 12pm instead of 12am. I tried resetting again just after 12 midnight but it just waited until 12pm of the next day to change. It seems the problem is getting it to recognize am & pm. I don't see anyway to let the computer know which is what. Has anyone been down this road and if so how can I get back on the right track

I have a classic so I'm not sure, but does the clock distinguish between am and pm in the 2G?

2g reads am pm from the radio. if its not factory radio might cause an issue if it is then remove the radio and put it back in should fix it.or unplug battery for 10 min

Problem solved. I had forgotten I changed the time on the clock about that time. Should have realized that it would affect the am and pm programming. Thanks for the help in solving my dilemma

Not as bad as getting AM and PM mixed up on your alarm clock and missing the first couple of hours of work......

An on-topic anecdote...
Anyone else concerned that the DIC date only goes up to 2027? haha!

I never noticed if there was a limit in years on the classic. I'll have to check that out haha.
