All 3 links are to the steps to remove the panel on a Classic.
On a 2G there are no screws at all. The panel relies on easily-broken hard plastic barbed pins.
Pry the top of the triangular plastic trim piece on the B pillar then lift it straight up.
Take a butter knife and pry gently up on the flat end of the window switch panel. Forward is a steel barbed clip, rear slides down in a slot. Disconnect the connector.
Preferably using a trim removal pry tool (looks like a bent screwdriver with a forked end), pry the panel away just slightly on the bottom corners to see where the push-lock pins are located, then use the tool to pry each one free from the door. There are several up both sides & across the bottom. Damn things are prone to break anyways but you can get replacements from an autoparts store.
The door handle is unique that it has 2 barbed steel tabs that lock into the plastic panel but the other end lifts up off grooved mounts screwed to the door. Lift the panel straight up about one inch to free the top edge & these 2 clips. Work the panel off over the latch handle.
Disconnect the 2 connectors on the door module & set the panel aside.
Install is the reverse except you slide the door pull clips into place on the mounts, then once the panel is centered over the door the flat ends lock into the slots on the panel.

My mistake, it was listed under 2G maintenance. I'll be sure to move it to the correct spot. Good catch.
